The article treats the issue of B. Pasternak’s reflection in his autobiographic essay «Safe Conduct». It analyzes the unique combination of a romantic worldview and a realistic narrative, characteristic of B. Pasternak’s style of the 1930s, when the writer’s style was developing from the futuristic complexity to the realistic clarity of style.
