Historiography of the history textbooks for schools: realities and opportunities. p.15-23.

The paper analyzes the possibility of enriching history textbooks meant for compulsory schools (grades 5–11) with the recent gains of historical knowledge. The paper analyzes a number of textbooks, which are traditionally referred to as modern textbooks and next-generation textbooks. It maintains that practically all authors hesitate to enrich school textbooks with recently gained knowledge.
