В статье прослеживается динамика арабо-еврейской конфронтации в Палестине в начале 1920-х годов во взаимосвязи с подготовкой и изданием в июне 1922 года заявления, больше известного как «Белая книга» (1922), министра по делам колоний Великобритании У. Черчилля. Проведенный анализ позволяет оценить эффективность британской политики в Святой земле в сфере регулирования отношений между арабской и еврейской частями населения.
