The article treats issues associated with the history of modern multi-party system in the Ryazan Region. The research investigates the process of the genesis and evolution of the party system in a separate region. It analyzes the results of the State Duma election campaigns, the results of election campaigns for regional executive bodies, and their influence on the transformation of the regional party system.
