The image of the moon in Oscar Wilde’s “Salomé”. p. 86-93

The article presents the interpretation of the image of the moon in Oscar Wilde’s “Salomé” considers connections of this image with themes and motives which were developed in his theoretical works and letters; studies the extinction to which the image of the moon deepens the meaningful aspects of the play and influences the subconscious mechanisms of the audience’s (readers’) perception.
