The paper centers on the phenomenon of economic security in the automobile industry. It analyzes macroeconomic and state industrial policy through the prism of economic security. It treats some amelioration measures that allow reducing economic security risks on the example of PLC Elabuzhskiy Light Vehicle Plant.
