Genre peculiarities of political comment in the aspect of discourse analysis. p.86-90

The article analyzes linguistic features of the genre of political comment as a sphere of discourse analysis. It`s concluded that political comment is created on the basis of several constant components. The aim of political comment is to influence the target audience so as to shape certain views, opinions, attitudes. The kind of influence defines the choice of this or that discourse strategy.
