 The article is devoted to problems and drawbacks connected with application of multimedia technology in higher education. The author examines methodology of multimedia educational means creation and their use in higher school and stresses that in conditions of society and education informatization it is necessary to develop information culture of students and also teachers. The author also examines issues of Internet use for educational purposes and offers means and ways of mentioned problems solution.
