The reflections: A.I. Solzhenitsyn about A.K. Tolstoy’s drama trilogy. p. 61-67.

The paper centers on the material from A.I. Solzhenitsyn’s «Literary Collection» devoted to Aleksey Konstantinovich Tolstoy’s historical drama trilogy published in 2004 by the literary journal «Novy Mir» (“New World”). The paper analyzes A.I. Solzhenitsyn’s attitude to historical drama and his ideas about A.K. Tolstoy’s characters, such as Ivan the Terrible, Feodor Ioannovich, Boris Godunov. The paper shows that A.I. Solzhenitsyn was interested in analyzing A.S. Pushkin’s «Boris Godunov» and in comparing it with A.K. Tolstoy’s works.
