The paper centers on the traditions of house furnishing established in Pre-Dnieper Ukraine in the late 19th – early 20th centuries. The paper focuses on the transformations undergone by some constructive elements of furniture, their number and diversity. The paper deals not only with traditions of furnishing but also with innovations in Pre-Dnieper furnishing style of the late 19th – early 20th century.
