The pivotal structure of consciousness in the Russian educational system. P. 7-15.

The article analyzes the causes of low educational attainment of school leavers and university graduates. It proves that these causes are systemic and have a long prehistory. Crisis processes take source in the discrepancies between the state system of education and the pedagogical heritage of the people, which rely on different ideal images, have different aims and axiological matrixes of education and up-bringing. The author maintains that in order to annihilate negative phenomena in education it is necessary to restore the traditional educational system and complete the curriculum with confession-oriented subjects.
