Geographical Peculiarities of Wine Tourism Р. 96-104.

An intangible cultural heritage includes knowledge, skills, verbal expressions, language, performing arts, etc. An unattainable element of an intangible cultural heritage is tradition, which includes norms of behavior, communication algorithms, value systems and life experience, which are passed on from generation to generation. The preservation, transmission and consolidation of traditions form an ethnic group and ensure its identity. Traditions are heterogeneous. Gastronomic traditions, which are especially important for tourism, form a basis of gastronomic tourism.

Enological (wine) tourism is a subtype of gastronomic tourism. The main goal of winery visit is winery attendance, tourists attend wine festivals organized by wine industries for different purposes.

The paper describes various models of wine tourism, specifying different purposes of winery attendance. The article focuses on geographical aspects of wine tourism, with a special emphasis on differences in wine making technology. The author enumerates the main types of quiet wine, sparkling wine, and special wine, characterizes the technology of wine making, enumerates wine making countries open to wine tourism.
