PARIS AND LIFE. ABOUT E. HEMINGWAY’S BOOK “A MOVEABLE FEAST”

The article attempts to investigate modern readers’ perception of a literary text written in the previous century from the point of view of everyday routine. It attempts to analyze the incongruous details of everyday life. It investigates cultural codes relevant to differently aged readers. It analyzes the impact of stereotypes spread in modern mass media on the way people decode a classical text.
