Economic-mathematical modeling is widely used to predict financial development. The prognostication of social development is a more challenging task. The paper provides a review of classical models of social-economic processes. The majority of models are based on the Ferhulst-Pearl equation. The model suggested by the author can be used to predict the effectiveness of an election campaign. The model is based on a number of axioms reflecting economic, psychological and social aspects of an election campaign.
