The article deals with the religious aspects of R. Reagan’s political ideology, it analyzes political rhetoric of the 40th president of the USA, comparing it with political essays of religious-conservative intellectuals. The article deals with R. Reagan’s views on church-state relations and on the president’s understanding of the role of religious values in social and political life of the USA.
