The results of the field radioecological researches which have been carried out by the authors in 2010–2011 are generalized. It is shown that the local radiating background and the specific activity of natural radionuclides are supervised by the granulometric composition of soils, and the emanations of 222Rn can serve as indicators of tectonic activity. Also it is established that the trajectory of Chernobyl radioactive trace within the Ryazan region essentially depends on the morphological structure of the landscapes. The procedure for the calculating of cancerogenic risk which is defined by the specific activity of soil radionuclides is offered.

radiating background, natural radionuclides, landscapes, relief, tectonic heterogeneity, cancerogenic risk.
