Commemorating R.A. Fridman. P.63-71.

The paper focuses on life and work of Raissa Aleksandrovna Fridman, a Doctor of Philology, a Professor in the Department of Literature of Ryazan State University named for S.A. Yessenin. In 2015 we are to commemorate her 110th birth anniversary. The paper treats the distinguished philologist’s ideas on troubadour songs, the famous code of courtly love and the cult of the lordly lady. The paper substantiates R.A. Fridman’s ideas on the Old Provencal poetry that were expressed by the scholar in her work “Troubadours’ Love Songs and their Interpretation”. The article also treats R.A. Fridman’s attitude to S.A. Yesenin’s poetic heritage.
